Monfragüe... a fantastic green world.

Monfragüe's National Park is in the province of Caceres, in the center of the triangle formed by Navalmoral of the Bush, Plasencia and Trujillo.Declared Nature reserve in 1979 and National Park in 2007, Monfragüe occupies a surface of 17.852 Hectares and represents one of the most extensive and representative enclaves of forest and Mediterranean bushes. The Tajo and his tributary, the Tiétar, provide the aquatic way and esculpen in big cuarcita headlands where they agree spectacular colonies of tawny vultures and the pecular falcon, the eagle nest perdicera, and the royal owl. In his shores and riverbeds we can find myths, cormorants and nightingales, besides others related to the aquatic way as the otter.
Only ... observe!
